Trinity Youth Enjoy Great Time At New Orleans Youth Gathering
A dozen of us boarded the plane at Chicago on Thursday, July 15th and headed to the 13th LCMS National Youth Gathering in New Orleans, LA. to join 25,000 other LCMS youth. The theme was "We Believe" based on the verse from John 20:31 "These things are written that you may believe Jesus is the Christ and that by believing in His name you might live forever." It was all about faith in Christ as the one sure hope in the world for forgiveness of sins and life forever in heaven as His free gift to us that cost Him His life and blood willingly sacrificed for us on the cross. Numerous great speakers, Bible Studies and worship services echoed this wonderful Gospel. Servant events were carried out to help people still feeling the effects of hurricane Katrina. And, multipile fellowship events helped us make many new friends. Our Trinity youth will be sharing this fabulous journey of faith Sunday mornings of August 1st and 8th between and during services.

New signs going up around town!
Pay close attention as you drive around town and you may just notice some new signs for Trinity going up. These are a part of our effort to encourage our community to join us on Sunday mornings. We have had some members donate their time and locations to put these signs up and we are thankful to them. As always – you could contribute to this as well by putting up a “lawn sign” in your own yards to help invite your neighbors to join us to celebrate and receive the gifts that God gives to us every Sunday here at Trinity.
